I made these little treat bags for the kids in my daughter's class. I took a little muslin bag stamped it with the tree and star. I cut little red felt heart and glued it on. Then I put in a couple little trinkets, foam stickers, and two pieces of candy. I also included a Merry Christmas tag from my daughter. Sydney helped divide up the stickers and pack up the bags. She's pretty excited about the whole thing. She is definitely ready for Christmas!

Cookie Tree
I first saw these cookie cutters in the Crate & Barrel Catalog but when I went to order it online - sold out. The audacity! But it worked out to my benefit, Wilton makes them. Cheaper too. Yay! I absolutely love the way it turned out. It took 2 batches of cookies though to make this one tree. There goes my thoughts of making a forest of these! The topper is a glitter star pick (made for wreaths). I just cut it and stuck in the top. It's too pretty to eat...well, not that pretty. : )

They're Back
Back by popular demand - the felt Yule Log or Buche de Noel! : ) They are a little different than the ones I made last year. These are all dark brown. Still just as cute.
For the past 2 years I have done a 12 days of Christmas crafts. Basically, something I had made for 12 straight days. Here is the links to 2008 and 2009. I am not prepared to that this year. I'm pretty bummed about it. It takes a couple weeks of prep in November for me to be ready and these past two weeks have filled with sickness - for my whole household. It seems we like to share germs, find new ones and share them again. Anyway, I do have some Christmas crafts and new Christmas felt foods that will be popping up soon.
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!
