I remember seeing this Martha Stewart pattern a long time ago in her magazine. She does still have the pattern on her website - here. My daughter lost her first tooth last week so I had to whip it up really quick. I have to say the pockets pretty small so it's the not easiest to get the tooth out. And it's not big enough for coins - only dollars - much to my daughter's delight. : )

Felt Buckeyes!
Being back in Ohio, the first traditional goodie to eat was a buckeye! If you don't know what a buckeye is - it's a peanut butter ball dipped in chocolate. And it's yummy!
So with the spirit of the Midwest and the spirit of BeckyM - we have felt buckeyes. : )
Here's a recipe if you wanted to try the real thing: Buckeye Recipe.

Pom Pom Pillow
I was inspired by this Pottery Barn Teen Pillow. I found some really great vintage pom poms and used a dark pink corduroy fabric. I did some machine applique to include my daughter's name on the pillow.
On a side note: the bird chalkboard (one of my favorite crafts) was drawn out by me on a piece of wood, cut out by my husband, and painted with chalkboard paint. It's hanging on the wall with some ribbon. I love it!

Sydney's Valentines
I saw these heart treat cups from Stampin' Up and knew I needed to use them for Valentine's Day. Man, they are cute.
Anyway, I wanted something simple. Hello, Photoshop. : )
I use the program to write on our Christmas cards every year too. I put the text right on the picture and it gets printed out. Easy.
I filled up the hearts with M&Ms and taped/glued a piece of cardstock behind it (to keep the candy from falling out). It's a very simple craft that will make everyone impressed.

Painted Picture Frame
We'll step away from Valentine's Day crafts for just a day. : )
I found these 2 picture frames at Goodwill one day. I knew I wanted to paint those stripes!
I picked out colors that I liked and painted away. I still have one of them to go. I'm thinking an ombre effect would be nice. Maybe in pinks? So much for stepping away from red and pink for a day. : )
