I'm not going to sugar coat it - these poms poms are hard to shape after you make them. The circle pom poms are much much easier. I think
Clover makes
the best pom pom makers.

I was hoping to make a longer garland for a headboard or fireplace but 9 of these was plenty. : )
I've also learned that using 100% wool yarn makes the best pom poms. One more little tid-bit: I used a doll making needle to thread a very thin ribbon through the pom poms.
