Being back in Ohio, the first traditional goodie to eat was a buckeye! If you don't know what a buckeye is - it's a peanut butter ball dipped in chocolate. And it's yummy!
So with the spirit of the Midwest and the spirit of BeckyM - we have felt buckeyes. : )
Here's a recipe if you wanted to try the real thing: Buckeye Recipe.
Mmmmmm..... Awesome
ReplyDeleteHi, I found the quilt you made for your grandparents for Christmas on Flickr and I think it's lovely. Would you mind telling me the width of your sashing and the size of the gray squares? I've been looking for a pattern that would utilize a box of vintage fabric scraps I bought at an estate sale, and I think yours would be perfect. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteHi Mindelicious. Since I don't have the quilt anymore, I'm just guestimating. I think the strips were 3 inches wide and the gray squares were about 8 inches. I hope that helps! Thanks for checking out my blog.

ReplyDeleteIs the pattern for these available? Or can I buy the completed felt buckeyes somewhere? I can't find them in your Etsy Shop.
