Felt Candy Canes. : ) You can get hand cramps sewing these. haha.
I sewed white felt around a wire (to get the traditional curve). Then I made some very fine red felt and carefully sewed that around the white. They are the size of real candy canes - perfect for play or to hang on the tree.
And a side note: that's real snow in the picture. : ) It snowed here last week (it all melted the next day) but exciting nonetheless. Exciting for me because I've been living in Florida for the past 6 years (we moved 4 months ago) - it's the first real fall and winter I've seen in a long time.
